  The Casspir was originally developed for the rigorous conditions of Namibia where a very high mine threat was prevalent.

The first prototype was build in 1979 and was one of the first to use the monocoque hull configuration.

The Casspir is a high mobility 4x4 troop carrier (driver + 13) and has earned itself an enviable reputation for reliability, durability and protection in active service.The Casspir is based on Mercedes Benz driveline / suspension components.The last Casspirs were build in the late 1980’s, early 1990’s and are no longer in production.

 
 
 
  The Mamba vehicle was developed to extend the lifetime of the Buffel vehicles in the 1980’s.

The Buffel drive train was remanufactured and integrated into the highly successful monoque hull concept.

The Mamba is a high mobility 4x4 troop carrier (driver + 10) based upon the rugged UNIMOG (Mercedes Benz) drive-line / suspension components.

The Mamba vehicles are no longer in production.

 
 
 
  The Samil range of vehicles were developed during the late 1970’s early 1980’s.  Soft skin as well as various mine & ballistic protected cabs were developed and integrated on different variants.

The range consist of

 
SAMIL 20 (4x4) 2000kg
SAMIL 50 (4x4) 5000kg
SAMIL 100 (6x6) 10000kg
with a wide variety of variants.
   
The Samil range were based on the Magirus Deutz (MkI) and ADE (MkII) engines, ASTAS gearbox and paramount transfer case and axles.

The Samil range is no longer in production.
   
 
 
 
  The Ratel vehicles were developed in the 1970’s as a mechanised infantry combat vehicle to provide infantry with armoured protection, increased fire power and mobility for close support with armour.

The battle proven Ratel is a high mobility 6x6 combat vehicle with 3 interchangeable turrets available (20mm, 60mm mortar & 90mm).  An 81mm mortar launcher mounted on a rotating base inside the vehicle is also available.

The Ratel is based on 6 cylinder, turbo charged engine, RENK automatic gearbox and MAN axles.

The Ratel is no longer in production.
