Protective Coverall
The rapid entry coverall has been designed specifically for police and military Special Forces units. It is made from 50% Kermel/50% Flame Retardant Viscose. Distinct advantages of this coverall include:
Inherently flame resistant
Thermo stable
Does not melt and offers sufficient protection against heat
Does not form molten droplets
Mechanical strength of an aramid fibre
Good abrasion resistance
Good resistance again chemicals
Body Protection
The body protection consists of:

Gloves
The gloves are manufactured from Du Pont 100% Black Kevlar Para Aramid Fibre. The Kevlar will not ignite and offers some protection against heat, although the PVC coating (Polka Dot) which facilitates grip will melt at around 70°C.
Helmets
The Riot Control Helmet is manufactured and complies with the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) private specification for riot helmets. The shell is fire retardant and made of fibreglass which along with the shock absorbing foam inner liner provides resistance towards high impact. The helmet can accommodate a full face mask with the visor in closed position.
Shields
The shields are made from transparent polycarbonate.
Impact-resistant, shock absorbing, ergonomic handle and arm strap are made of soft polypropylene webbing.
Shock Shields
The shock shield is a non-lethal but effective electronic shocking device.
Activation of shock is by heavy duty thumb operated momentary switch. Visible test spark ensures effective deterrent as well as low battery indicator.
Baton & Tonfa
The baton and tonfa are made of non-breakable, scratch proof polypropylene.
The durable gripping surface assures non-slip handling. The ergonomic handle can be equipped with a strap.
